The Winnipeg Statement: Canadian bishops’ statement on the Encyclical Humanae vitae (On human life) By

This is the text of the statement on Pope Paul VI's Encyclical Letter Humanae vitae, issued by the bishops of Canada, September 27, 1968, at their Plenary Assembly held at Winnipeg, MB.

Please carefully read paragraphs #17, 25, 26 and 34. These represent the most objectionable parts of the Statement, especially paragraph 26.
