Catholic Insight magazine is a journal of opinion, news, and analysis. Within the English-speaking
community of Canadian Catholics, it provides a forum for discussing political, social, economic and
cultural aspects of the Church in Canada and the world at large.

Catholic Insight was founded by Father Alphonse de Valk, C.S.B., in 1993. It is a small national
publication with subscribers from coast to coast. Its website (www.catholicinsight.com) has over 800
articles, many of which have are now cited in over 20 major search engines.
Catholic Insight vigorously supports and defends the teachings of the Magisterium of the Church. On
social and economic subjects, it follows the principles of Catholic social teaching to the best of its abilities.
In political affairs, it takes the traditional position that Church and state should work in harmony, not in
enmity.

In the last forty years, Canada’s ruling political parties have engineered the deconstruction of Christian
principles in ethics, morality, and family life by means of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, new laws,
and changes to social policies and institutions. Catholic Insight has opposed and will continue to oppose
these trends.

This is the magazine for Canadians who would like to deepen their knowledge of the Faith and to discover
the authentic teachings of the Catholic Church.

We accept the electronic submission of advertisements in one of our preferred formats (listed above), but
PDF is the most complete and reliable format for ensuring best results. Please fax a copy of any
electronically submitted advertising for reference and confirmation. In order to reproduce high-quality
images, electronic artwork must be saved at the correct resolution or dpi (dots-per-inch):

• Black & White Photography - 150 dpi
• Color Photography - 200 dpi
• Color Clipart / Logos - 300 dpi
• Line Art - 600 dpi

Unless submitting your ad as a PDF, please include all relevant artwork, images and fonts with your

DEADLINES

Since Catholic Insight goes to press on the 20th of each month for publication in the following month, all
advertising copy must be received at least ten days prior, i.e. on the 10th of the month, to guarantee a
placement in the coming issue. Please note that all deadlines are final.
